Kaldr, the stormbringer

This is a submition for the Character Design Challenge. Theme: norse gods.
I tried to impersonate the long winter that announces the Ragnarok on norse culture.

This painting served aswell as a laboratory and study of brushes

This is the messenger Kaldr, the personification of Fimbulvetr, the harsh winter that precedes the end of the world. Kaldr's genealogy is unknow and it's told that his only appearance is in the immediate prelude to the events of Ragnarok.
